Description
The Triostar Stromanthe (Stromanthe sanguinea) might keep you on your toes, but its dazzling pink and green variegated leaves make it totally worth it. While it thrives outdoors in warm, humid spots, it truly shines as a houseplant. Part of the prayer plant family, it charmingly folds its leaves at night and often gets mistaken for a calathea. Though it can bloom in spring outside, its vibrant foliage steals the show. It grows at a decent pace but can get a bit moody if it feels cramped, disturbed, or left in the dark.
Light: Bright Indirect Light. Direct Light can cause the leaves to burn.
Water: Keep evenly moist. Not waterlogged, is preferable. In cooler weather, this plant can be kept a little drier.
