Lot Table

Description

For the designer, the name Lot is a reference to the right angle. The Lot Table with the folding mechanism is also a play with geometries: a semicircle that is rotated through 90 degrees and forms the support for the folding element. Hartauer’s idea: to create a movement that can be seen in the furniture. Lot is versatile: it can be both a dining table and a work table.

Lot was designed by Wolfgang Hartauer. Wolfgang Hartauer is a trained carpenter and studied architect, who describes himself as a “craftsman”. He set up his own design company, Interior Things, based in Holzminden, in 2014. The common thread of his work: creating clear design and order with passion and precision.
