Description
This is a Modern Brown Leather Settee Sofa, designed in 1966 by Dave Woods for the J.G. Furniture Company. The design was part of the Independent Suspension Group, introduced in Interiors Magazine in 1966. It has a highly polished steel frame, and has a dark brown canted leather or faux leather seat. The silhouette is streamlined, yet the piece is quite comfortable. It is a substantial, well-made sofa.
This settee measures 33 inches deep, 52 inches wide, and 27 inches high. It has a seat height of 15 inches. There are some light scratches on the removable arms, and there is a small blemish as pictured. The base has a handful of very light scuffs. Overall, this piece is in very good condition.
