- Lumber is not included in this swing set bracket kit. For constructing a basic A-Frame, we recommend using one 4×6 144 inches top beam and four 4×4 96 inches side support legs. Do not attempt to force the wood into the brackets; the lumber should slide in easily and fit snugly.

The bracket openings measure 3-5/8″ x 5-5/8″ and 3-5/8″ x 3-5/8″. Please do not force the wood into the brackets; it should slide in easily with a snug fit. If your boards are too large, we recommend planing them down for a proper fit.
