The Gräshoppa Pendant uses the signature steel shade that successfully combines lightness and functionality into a modern yet organic character. Hanging from the ceiling, the lamp brings a modernistic style and classic elegance to any decor and is perfectly suited over a kitchen counter or paired over a dining table.
The Gräshoppa Collection was designed by Greta M. Grossman. Greta maintained a prolific forty-year career in both Europe and North America, and operated as mover and shaker in the male dominated world of mid-century modern design. Her achievements were many and encompassed industrial design, interior design and architecture. In 1933, she opened her studio and married jazz musician Billy Grossman.
