Description
This is a Full-Sized Headboard and Footboard Set, designed by Jens Risom for Jens Risom Designs in ca. 1959. The listed price includes one set. It features a frame of solid American Walnut, and it retains its original caned panel that is attached to the headboard. This design appeared in a 1959 catalog for Risom Contemporary Furniture.
The headboard measures 3.8 inches deep, 56 inches wide, and 37.5 inches high. We have intentionally left these pieces in their original condition. There is obvious patina to the wood, and there are some blemishes and spots on the cane. There is a tear on one side, a smaller hole on the right side, and there are various light scratches on the footboard. Overall, this bed set is in good condition. Please see photos.
