Description

This is a DKX-1 Wire Chair, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1951. This example was produced by Herman Miller circa 1957. The chair features a sculptural black steel wire frame paired with a two-piece bikini pad in matching blue upholstery.

The chair measures 21 inches deep, 19 inches wide, and 32.4 inches high, with a seat height of 19 inches. This piece shows wear consistent with age and use. There is patina on the frame and the upholstery has tears and surface blemishes. Overall, the chair is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
