Description
This is a Set of Six 290F Armchairs, designed by Wulf Schneider and Ulrich Bohme for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna in 1998.
This particular set was produced in Slovenia in the late 1990s. Their design features a perforated bent beech shell that has been ebonized, and has bent beech sculptural armrests. Their design is decidedly Postmodern, and this model was not largely produced, making them rather special.

Each chair measures 19.5 inches deep, 20.5 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. There are some light scratches and scuffs on the armrests and the legs, and there are some small chips to the veneer. Overall, this set is in good condition. Please see photos.
