Description

This is an Executive Office Chair, initially designed by Ward Bennett for Brickel Associates in 1970. These particular examples were produced in 1984 in the United States. Their design features an ash frame with an upholstered seat and back in burgundy leather atop a metal five-point base on casters.

These chairs came from the IBM Headquarters in Armonk, which was designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM) Architects, under project lead Gordon Bunshaft and Davis Allen likely leading the interiors.

The listed price includes one chair and there are two available to purchase.

Each chair measures 22 inches deep, 25.25 inches wide, and 34.25 inches high, with a seat height of 17 inches. The chairs show some signs of use, including scratches and surface blemishes on the frames and leather. There is a slight discoloration in the leather between the two chairs. Overall, these chairs remain in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
