Description
This is a set of six Sirkus chairs, designed by Yrjo Kukkapuro for Avarte in 1981. The chairs were produced in Finland, and the listed price includes the set of six chairs as shown. They feature chromed-steel frames, and they have seats that are made of bent birch veneer. They retain their original blue fabric upholstery. The manufacturer’s label is present under the seats.
Each chair measures 22.5 inches deep, 21.65 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 17.5 inches. The chromed bases are in excellent shape, still shiny lest for some small scratches and scuffs. The fabric shows signs of use and the seats are a bit threadbare. There are some small chips on the veneer on the backs of the chairs. Overall, this set is in good condition. Please see photos.
