Description
At the 1940 Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Exhibition, the Pelican Chair was showcased alongside the Pelican Table, both reflecting Finn Juhl’s deep affinity for modern art. However, the table was never put into production and was only rediscovered at a Paris auction nearly 75 years later, allowing the accurate design and measurements of the table to be finally determined. The Pelican Table is now manufactured in oak, walnut, Oregon pine, or painted black.
